Enemy fired 84 cruise missiles at Ukraine, 43 of them shot down - General Staff

Russia fired 84 cruise missiles at Ukraine today, and 43 of them were shot down.

According to Ukrinform, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in an update on multiple missile strikes as of 14:00.

According to the report, Russia used 84 cruise missiles and 24 unmanned aerial vehicles, including 13 Iranian-made Shahed-136s. Some 56 targets were destroyed, including 43 cruise missiles and 13 UAVs (including ten suicide drones).

The General Staff called on Ukrainians to remain calm and not to ignore air raid alerts.

Early on October 10, Russian troops targeted civilians with multiple air strikes across Ukraine. Infrastructure facilities were damaged and civilian casualties were reported.
