Russian troops have opened fire on four districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region with the Grad and Uragan multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and heavy artillery.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Valentyn Reznichenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Three communities came under enemy fire in the Nikopol district (Nikopol, Chervonohryhorivka and Myrove). In the city of Nikopol, over 30 apartment blocks and detached houses were seriously damaged, as well as household buildings, cars, gas pipelines and power grids. Over 2,000 households were left without electricity due to shelling. Power engineers have restored power supply for most of them,” Reznichenko wrote.

In his words, Russian projectiles caused damage to a hospital, lyceum, postal office, pharmacy, insurance company’s office, library, store, café, hairdressing saloon and parking.

In the Novohryhorivka community and the Myrove community, rescuers continue inspecting the impact areas, and the details are yet to be checked.

In the Kryvyi Rih district, Russian troops used the Uragan MLRS to strike the Zelenodolsk community. People remained unharmed. The scale of destructions is yet to be reported.

Around 00:00 (midnight), Russians fired two missiles at the Synelnykove district and the Pavlohrad district. Both missiles were destroyed by the Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense units.
