Death toll in Russia’s missile strikes on residential houses in Zaporizhzhia rises to 18

One more civilian body has been recovered from under the rubble of the residential houses destroyed in Russia’s missile attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia, which took place on October 6, 2022. Hence, the total death toll increased to 18.

The relevant statement was made by the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia region, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We have 18 victims killed in the missile strikes, which took place on October 6, 2022. Fourteen civilians requested medical aid,” the police said.

Meanwhile, rescuers continue dismantling works at the scene.

A reminder that fourteen civilian bodies were reported to have been recovered from under the rubble of a 5-storey apartment block, including a child. Four more bodies were recovered from under the rubble of a 4-storey residential house.
