Ukrainian forces shoot down three Iranian kamikaze drones in southern regions

The Air Defense Forces shot down three Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drones, which were used by the Russian invaders to attack Odesa and Mykolaiv regions late on Friday, October 7.

The Operational Command South reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Late in the evening [October 7], the occupying forces attacked Odesa and Mykolaiv regions with three Shahed-136 kamikaze drones. All three suicide drones were shot down by air defense forces," the report says.

As Ukrinform reported, Oleksandr Starukh, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said that for the first time, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with Iranian kamikaze drones on October 7.
