Missile strike on Zaporizhzhia: Three people killed, number of those injured rises to 12

Three people were killed and twelve more were injured in a Russian missile attack on the city of Zaporizhzhia.

The Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"As of now, there is information about three killed people. Twelve more citizens, including one child, were hospitalized in the city's medical facilities. Information about the injured and the dead is updated," the report reads.

Employees of the police, State Emergency Service, Security Service of Ukraine, paramedics, as well as experts of specialized services are working at the scene.  Law enforcers examine the scene and gather evidence of an armed crime.

Criminal proceedings will be instituted under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of laws and customs of war).

As reported, at about 05:00, on October 6, the Russian army fired seven missile at Zaporizhzhia, destroying two multi-storey residential buildings.
