Nikopol district struck with Russia’s Grad MLRS

Three communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region’s Nikopol district have come under enemy fire. Russian projectiles caused damage to a church, gas pipeline, recreation camps and educational institutions.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Valentyn Reznichenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Three communities in the Nikopol district were struck with the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and heavy artillery: Chervonohryhorivka, Nikopol and Marhanets. According to the preliminary data, no casualties among civilians were reported,” Reznichenko wrote.

In the Chervonohryhorivka community, two houses were destroyed and up to 20 seriously damaged. Russian projectiles caused damage to two educational institutions, church, store, gas pipeline and power transmission lines.

In Nikopol, recreation camps were damaged.

In the Marhanets community, rescuers continue to inspect the area. The scale of destructions is yet to be checked.
