In Dnipropetrovsk region, a dam was blown up this night near Chornohorka to lower the water level, which had risen critically in the Inhulets River after a Russian missile attack.

"At night, numerous measures were taken, starting from two explosions of the dam near Chornohorka to increase its capacity, ending with major engineering works," Oleksandr Vilkul, Head of the Kryvyi Rih Military Administration, said in his video address.

He reported that the elimination of the consequences of the missile attack was underway, the water flow had dropped, and the water level in the flooded areas began to decrease. A total of 112 private houses and summer cottages were flooded in Hdantsivka and Matrenivka, Inhulets district of Kryvyi Rih. People were evacuated.

According to Valentyn Reznichenko, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, it was possible to lower the water level in the Inhulets River by 40 cm during the elimination of the consequences of the Russian missile attack on hydraulic facilities in Kryvyi Rih.

"The water level in the Inhulets River has already dropped by 40 centimeters at the moment and is falling further. Many thanks to rescuers, emergency services, and everyone who worked all night and continues to work now. Each of you did an incredible job," he posted on Telegram.

As reported, on the evening of September 14, the Russians hit hydraulic facilities in Kryvyi Rih with Kinzhal and Iskander cruise missiles. As a result of the damage caused, the water level in the Inhulets River rose by 1-2 meters.
