Anti-aircraft units of Ukraine’s Armed Forces over the past day shot down three Russian Su25s and a Su-24M attack aircraft.

That’s according to a war update by the General Staff, Ukrinform reports.

“The enemy continues to focus its efforts on attempts to fully occupy Donetsk region, retain the captured territories, and disrupt the active moves by our troops in certain areas. The enemy is shelling our positions along the contact line, trying to take measures to regroup troops in separate directions, conducting aerial reconnaissance. The threat of air and missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains in place,” the report reads.

The enemy continues to attack the civilian homes and infrastructure objects, violating the norms of International Humanitarian Law, laws and customs of war. The infrastructure in more than 30 settlements was damaged by air and missile strikes, as well as MLRS shelling. These include Kryvyi Rih, Kharkiv, Kramatorsk, Vovchansk, Kostyantynivka, Lozova, Siversk, Bilohorivka, Mykolaivka, Verkhnyokamianske, Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Vesela Dolyna, Zaitseve, Yuryivka, New York, Pervomaiske, Kamyanka, Vremivka, Stepove, Mali Shcherbaky, Suhyi Stavok, Kostromka, Bila Krynytsia, and Myrne.

The reports have been confirmed on massive losses suffered by Russia’s 137th Parachute Regiment of the 106th Parachute Division in the Bakhmut direction, which effectively incapacitated the unit.

In order to retain the temporarily captured ground, the enemy is trying to strengthen the first line of defense in Donetsk and Zaporizhia regions by moving in reserves from among the units of the 3rd Army Corps, as well as the remnants of units withdrawn from the Kharkiv direction. At the same time, due to the Ukrainian forces breaching logistical support of the occupation troops, Russian units performing tasks along the contact line have faced shortages of certain types of ammunition for MLR systems and artillery.

Defense forces continue to successfully repulse enemy attacks, including near Spirne, Soledar, Mayorsk, Zaitseve, Odradivka, Vesela Dolyna, Vodiane, and Novomykhailivka.

Over the past 24 hours, supporting the actions of Ukraine’s ground forces, the Air Force carried out 12 strikes on enemy manpower and equipment clusters. They successfully engaged six manpower clusters, two platoon strongholds, and four positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. Enemy losses are being verified.

In addition, Ukraine’s air defense units destroyed four aircraft: three Su-25s and a Su-24M attack aircraft.

As reported, enemy death toll as of September 14 has reached 53,650.
