In the Donetsk direction, Russian troops are making attempts to advance deeper into the territory of Ukraine, but the Ukrainian military have repelled enemy attacks near eight settlements.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As of 06:00 p.m., September 14, 2022, Russian troops continued to focus efforts on establishing full control over the Donetsk region, holding the captured territories and preventing Ukraine’s Defense Forces from advancing in certain areas.

The enemy is inflicting fire damage on the Ukrainian positions all over the contact line, making attempts to restore their lost positions, redeploying troops and conducting air reconnaissance.

Russian troops continue to cause terror against Ukrainian civilians, violating the laws and customs of war. Enemy air and missile strikes caused damage to infrastructure in over 15 settlements, namely Bilohorivka, Spirne, Verkhniokamianske, Stepove, Sukhyi Stavok, Bilohirka, Bezimenne and Mala Seidemynukha.

On the night of September 14, 2022, the Russian military launched missile strikes on civil infrastructure facilities in Mykolaiv and Kramatorsk. Over the past day, eight missile and four air strikes have been recorded. The enemy also opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) 15 times.

The threat of air and missile strikes is persisting all over Ukraine.

In the Volyn and Polissia direction, the situation remained rather unchanged.

In the Siverskyi direction, Russin troops used tanks, mortars and artillery to open fire near Chernihiv Region’s Senkivka and Bleshnia, and Sumy Region’s Stepne and Novovasylivka.

In the Kharkiv direction, the intensity of enemy shelling reduced significantly. Such settlements as Basove and Kupiansk came under enemy fire.

In the rest of directions, Russian troops used tanks, mortars and artillery to open fire on military and civil infrastructure facilities as follows: in the Kramatorsk direction – near Yaremivka, Tetianivka, Raihorodok, Dronivka, Kryva Luka, Siversk, Verkhniokamianske, Zvanivka, Spirne and Bilohorivka; in the Bakhmut direction – near Mykolaivka, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Mykolaivka Druha, Zaitseve, New York, Yurivka and Vesele; in the Avdiivka direction – near Umanske, Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Vodiane, Opytne, Krasnohorivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka; in the Zaporizhzhia direction – on Bohoiavlenka, Zelene Pole, Novopil, Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka, Neskuchne, Vuhledar, Pavlivka, Poltavka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Orikhiv and Mali Shcherbaky; in the Southern Bug direction – on Vysokopillia, Zarichne, Kamiane, Arkhanhelske, Partyzanske, Andriivka, Bilohirka, Sukhyi Stavok, Ternovi Pody, Blahodatne, Myrne and Tavriiske.

According to the General Staff, the morale of Russian troops is extremely low due to the successful actions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces and significant losses in terms of personnel.

The Russian command is making attempts to force personnel to take part in hostilities, threatening to send them to forward positions without weapons. As a result, about 50 soldiers mobilized from the temporarily occupied city of Horlivka submitted formal requests, refusing to take part in battles.

In order to preserve some military equipment samples, Russian troops are making attempts to evacuate air defense systems deeper into the temporarily occupied territory. On the night of September 12, 2022, the S-300 and Buk missile system columns were spotted driving from Lutuhyne towards the Russian-Ukrainian border.

In the Donetsk direction, Russian invaders are trying to advance deeper into the territory of Ukraine. The Ukrainian military repelled enemy attacks near Spirne, SOledar, Maiorsk, Zaitseve, Odradivka, Vesela Dolyna, Vodiane and Novomykhailivka.

Over the past day, in order to provide support for the ground forces, Ukraine’s air forces have launched 11 strikes, hitting six enemy positions, personnel and military equipment clusters, three air defense missile system positions, and shooting down one aircraft.

Ukraine’s missile and artillery units struck Russian command posts, personnel and military equipment clusters. Four enemy Grad MLRS systems were confirmed as destroyed in the Kherson region, as well as a food warehouse of Russian invaders in the Donetsk region’s Dokuchaievsk.
