In the southern direction, the missile-artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine performed about 300 fire missions, eliminated 59 invaders and almost 20 units of enemy equipment.

"The defense forces continue to drive the enemy out along the entire front line. The enemy continues making efforts to get ammunition and manpower reserves, looking for alternative ways to deliver weapons and equipment. Over the day, the enemy tried to improve its tactical position by assaulting Ternovi Pody – Liubomyrivka and Chkalove – Bezimenne directions with two platoons to a company backed up by tanks. In both cases, the invaders failed, suffered losses, and retreated," the Operational Command "South" posted on Facebook.

Over the past day, the enemy aircraft launched 15 strikes on Ukrainian positions. Despite this, the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hold occupied lines, respond with fire damage, and repel enemy's attempts to improve the tactical position.

The aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched two strikes on enemy forces in the area of Novopetrivka, Kherson region.

Missile and artillery units performed about 300 fire missions, hitting three enemy weapons and equipment clusters, two control points, and a radio-electronic warfare station.

"To dispel invaders’ myths about the restoration of bridges, fire control of the Antonivka Bridge once again secured its unusability," the Ukrainian military said.

The enemy lost 59 soldiers, a tank, five 152mm howitzers, including Msta-B and Msta-S self-propelled howitzers, a command and staff vehicle, and a control vehicle, 12 armored vehicles of other types.

As the Operational Command "South" reported, 12 warships are maneuvering in the Black Sea, off the coast of Crimea, including four carriers of more than 30 Kalibr cruise missiles.

As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 52,950 Russian invaders from February 24 to September 12.
