Sumy, Chernihiv come under fire from Russian territory

The enemy continues to shell the border communities of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions from Russian territory.

According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's State Border Guard Service said this in a statement posted on its website.

On Saturday, September 10, Russian troops continued shelling the Ukrainian border. The enemy used mortars and howitzers.

"The Velyka Pysarivka, Krasnopillia, Seredyna-Buda, Esman and Yunakivka communities of the Sumy region and the Semenivka community of the Chernihiv region came under enemy fire," the report reads.

On September 10, Russian troops shelled seven Ukrainian regions.
