Ukrainian troops continue to advance and consolidate positions at the southern front.

"Positional battles are ongoing, resulting in the advance of troops and consolidation of territories. The enemy prefers counter-battery fighting, trying to avoid direct contact. The enemy suffers losses and retreats," the Operational Command "South" reported on the results of September 10.

Over the past day, the enemy launched 20 airstrikes on the Ukrainian positions along the contact line and adjacent territories. In response, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit enemy weapons and equipment build-up areas near Nova Kakhovka and Prydniprovske, as well as ammunition depots around and in Kherson city.

In particular, yet another ferry crossing in the area of ​​Nova Kakhovka was "critically damaged without the possibility of further use". Moreover, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed three enemy ammunition depots in Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Beryslav districts.

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his address on Saturday evening that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had already liberated 2,000 km of Ukrainian territory from the Russian invaders since the beginning of September.
