Armed Forces of Ukraine hit six enemy control points, destroy eight depots

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00, September 6, published on Facebook.

The Russian troops continue to focus their efforts on establishing full control over the territory of Donetsk region, holding the captured districts of Kherson, part of Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolaiv regions.

The enemy intensively conducts aerial reconnaissance with drones, tries to improve the logistical support of its troops.

During the day, the invaders launched more than six missile strikes and more than ten airstrikes on the Ukrainian military and civilian objects, making more than 30 sorties for this purpose. In particular, the infrastructure was affected in the areas of Bayrak, Asiyivka, Pryshyb, Tetianivka, Vremivka, Novomykhailivka, Velyka Novosilka, Poltavka, Olhivske, Novopole, Velyke Artakove, Bila Krynytsia, Ternivka, Bilohirka, Kostromka, Novohryhorivka, and Blahodativka.

There is still a threat of air and missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff information, the situation in Volyn and Polissya directions has changed significantly.

In other directions, the enemy shelled military and civilian infrastructure with tanks, fighting vehicles, tube and rocket artillery.

In Siversky direction, Russian troops shelled the civilian and military infrastructure of the localities of Khrinivka in Chernihiv region and Nova Huta, Sopych, and Myropillia in Sumy region.

In Kharkiv direction, the enemy hit objects in the areas of Prudianka, Slatyne, Ruska Lozova, Ruski Tyshky, Mospanove, Husarivka, and Zalyman.

In Slovyansk direction, the invaders did not conduct active offensive actions. Dolyna, Krasnopillia, Mazanivka, Dmytrivka, Brazhkivka, and Dovhenke came under enemy fire.

In Kramatorsk direction, the enemy strikes were recorded near Bohorodychne, Sydorove, Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Platonivka, Siversk, Ivano-Daryivka, Verkhniokamyanske, and Hryhorivka.

In Bakhmut direction, the areas of New York, Yuryivka, Zaytseve, Vesela Dolyna, Mayorsk, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Bakhmut, Opytne, and Rozdolivka came under fire.

In Avdiivka direction, Russian troops shelled Avdiivka, Opytne, and Pervomaiske with mortars and tube artillery.

In Novopavlivka direction, the enemy struck the areas of Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Velyka Novosilka, Paraskoviyivka, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Neskuchne, and Vremivka.

In Zaporizhzhia direction, the invaders fired artillery of various types near Novodanylivka, Bilohirya, Huliaypilske, Dorozhnianka, Chervone, Poltavka, and Zaliznychne.

In Southern Buh direction, Russian troops opened fire along the contact line. Also, the enemy continued to actively conduct aerial reconnaissance with drones, making more than 50 sorties.

It was established that due to significant losses, the number of enemy units, withdrawn to restore combat capability, has increased. The units of private military companies are forced to be replenished by prisoners in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. According to the General Staff data, these persons are offered amnesty, Russian citizenship, and monetary payments for participating in the war against Ukraine.

It is emphasized that the Defense Forces units hold their positions and do not give the enemy an opportunity to advance deep into the territory of Ukraine.

"Our military successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Dolyna, Soledar, Novobakhmutivka, Kodema, Zaitseve, Avdiivka, Marinka, and Liubomyrivka," the General Staff reported.

During the day, to support the actions of the ground groups, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine launched more than eight strikes which destroyed military equipment, air defense systems, and a significant number of personnel in strongholds in Donetsk and Southern Buh directions.

The air defense units downed one Russian helicopter, a drone, and five cruise missiles in different directions.

It is reported that the missile troops and artillery of the ground troops continue to perform tasks of fire damage to manpower and military equipment, counter-battery fighting, disruption of the enemy's control system and logistical support.

Six enemy control points, including the corps level, were damaged, and three clusters of the invaders' manpower were destroyed. According to the General Staff, nine air defense systems were in the affected area. The results are being verified.

"At the same time, electronic reconnaissance and combat equipment, communication stations, pontoon and ferry crossings, eight ammunition depots of various levels were destroyed, significantly reducing the enemy's ability to conduct offensive actions," the General Staff added.

As reported, from February 24 to September 6, the defenders of Ukraine eliminated about 50,150 Russian invaders, destroyed 2,077 tanks, 4,484 armored personnel vehicles, 1,179 artillery systems, and other enemy equipment.
