Russian invaders disconnect Kakhovka HPP

Russian invaders have disconnected Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP).

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The enemy continues to commit unlawful actions in Kherson Region. In particular, Russian invaders disconnected Kakhovka HPP, having left some parts of Kherson Region and Zaporizhzhia Region without electricity,” the report states.

A reminder that, between February 24, 2022 and September 5, 2022, Russia’s total combat losses in Ukraine reached about 49,800 troops.
