28 Russian invaders, 2 enemy ammo depots liquidated in Kherson region

In Kherson region, Ukrainian defense forces eliminated 28 Russian invaders, two enemy howitzers and two ammunition depots.

The Operational Command South informed this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Our missile and artillery units fired on the pontoon crossing in the area of the Kakhovka Bridge, on the logistical and administrative facilities of the occupying forces. Confirmed losses of the enemy include 28 rocket launchers, two 152mm Msta-B and Msta-S howitzers, three units of armored vehicles and 2 ammunition depots in the Kherson district," the report reads.

According to the command, as of today, the situation in the operational zone of southern Ukraine is tense and dynamic. The enemy is conducting defensive battles, shelling populated areas both along the contact line and in the rear areas.

It is noted that the invaders conducted aerial reconnaissance. In particular, two Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles were detected and destroyed twice in the Vysokopillia area during the night.

It was established that during the previous night, the enemy shelled the Nikopol district with heavy artillery, mortars and MLRS systems.

Russian troops struck Mykolaiv region with Kh-59 cruise missile. The Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed the missile.

In addition, the invaders used 300 anti-aircraft missile systems to hit the facilities of Mykolaiv’s industrial infrastructure. Administrative buildings and residential buildings near the enterprise were damaged.

As Ukrinform reported, Russian troops struck Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk region with heavy artillery on the night into September 5.
