Russian forces once again shell Mykolaiv region

Russian troops shelled the village of Pervomaiske of the Mykolaiv district. As a result of shelling, the roof of one of the residential buildings caught fire.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service wrote on Telegram.

"This afternoon, the invaders once again struck the village of Pervomaiske of the Mykolaiv district. As a result of the fall of ammunition and debris from them, the roof of one of the residential buildings caught fire. The rescue service was notified about that at 12:41,” the report reads.

A fire-rescue unit of the Main Department of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service in Mykolaiv region left for the scene.

At 13:55, firefighters managed to extinguish the fire on an area of 120 square meters.

"Fortunately, there were no victims, because the owners left early due to the constant shelling of this populated area," the State Emergency Service noted.

Four fire fighters and one unit of special equipment of the State Emergency Service were working on the spot.

As reported by Ukrinform, on August 4, law enforcement officers opened a case on the fact of enemy night shelling of Mykolaiv, Voznesensk and Ochakiv.
