Russian invaders removed about 100 military equipment units from the territory of Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), as they were waiting for an expert mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) to arrive.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In connection with the arrival of the IAEA mission, the occupiers removed all the military equipment from the territory of Zaporizhzhia NPP. About 100 equipment units were redeployed to Atomenergomash Plant, and the rest was spread across the closest settlements,” the report states.

A reminder that, on September 1, 2022, the IAEA mission headed by IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi visited Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia NPP, which had been seized by Russian troops. Five IAEA representatives remained at the plant.
