Russia commits 45,500 crimes in Ukraine since invasion

Ukrainian law enforcement officers have documented 45,547 crimes related to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office said this in a post on the Telegram messenger, Ukrinform reports.

As of August 31, Ukrainian law enforcers registered 31,059 crimes of aggression and war crimes, including 29,877 crimes related to violations of the laws and customs of war, 73 related to planning, preparing or launching and waging a war of aggression, 30 related to war propaganda, and 1,079 other crimes.

Ukraine also documented 14,488 crimes against national security, including 10,074 crimes related to encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, 1,631 crimes on treason, 2,070 on collaboration, 150 on aiding the aggressor state, 64 on subversive activities, and 499 other crimes.

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, 379 children were killed, more than 735 were injured, and 230 are reported missing as a result of Russia's all-out invasion of Ukraine.
