Sumy region’s community came under enemy fire

Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"The morning on the border began with shelling after 8 o’clock. For their side, the Russians hit the outskirts of a village in the Krasnopillia community with mortars and self-propelled guns, a total of 16 air strikes were recoded. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties or destruction," Zhyvytskyi wrote.

According to him, the night in the region passed peacefully.

As reported, on August 28, Russian troops shelled the territories of Myropillia, Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Znob-Novhorodske, Esman, Shalyhyne communities of Sumy region.
