EU strongly condemns Russia's missile strike on Chaplyne

The European Union strongly condemns a Russian missile strike on Chaplyne in Dnipropetrovsk region.

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell wrote this on Twitter, reports Ukrinform.

“The EU strongly condemns another heinous attack by Russia on civilians: in Chaplyne on Ukraine’s Independence Day. Those responsible for Russian rocket terror will be held accountable,” Borrell stated.

As Ukrinform reported, on August 24, Russian troops launched a missile strike on the Chaplyne railway station in Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the attack, 25 people, including two children, were killed and 31 were injured.
