About UAH 855 million has already been collected for the purchase of drones for the Ukrainian military as part of the Army of Drones project, which was launched on the United24 platform.

Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said this in an interview with Ukrinform.

"The Army of Drones is a complex and systemic project within UNITED24, which we implement together with the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Special Communications Service of Ukraine. So far, it has been possible to collect about UAH 855 million for the purchase of new drones," he said.

The minister added that more than 200 "large" drones have already been contracted, and they are starting to arrive gradually - about 100 are already in Ukraine. It is planned that all the contracted drones will arrive in the country by late October or early November.

The Army of Drones is a project initiated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Digital Information. This is a comprehensive program, which includes the planned systematic purchase of drones, their repair, as well as training courses for relevant specialists. The project started on July 1 this year.
