Four civilians injured in Russia’s missile attack on Odesa Region

On the night of August 17, 2022, Russian invaders fired two missiles at Odesa Region from Tu-22M3 bombers. Four civilians were injured.

The relevant statement was made by the South Operational Command on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Last night the Tu-22M3 strategic bombers attacked Odesa Region with Kh-22 missiles. Two missiles caused destructions and fires in a recreation base and several private buildings located nearby. Four civilians were injured and received medical aid,” the report states.

Rescuers have already extinguished a fire of over 600 square meters in area.

As Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko noted on Telegram, seven buildings of the recreation base were destroyed and 15 cottages were damaged in Russia’s late night attack on the village of Zatoka, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District.
