Kharkiv comes under unguided rocket fire, number of those injured rises to seven

Russian forces early on Monday shelled a housing estate in the Saltivsky district of Kharkiv using unguided rockets from Grad multiple rocket launchers, and the number of those injured increased to seven.

Serhii Bolvinov, head of the National Police's main department in the Kharkiv region, wrote this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"According to preliminary data, shelling was carried out from Grad multiple rocket launchers. 122mm unguided rockets were used. […] This is terrorism to use MLRS in a residential area. This is terrorism to shell children's playgrounds," Bolvinov wrote.

He added that investigators are working at the scene.

"After the morning shelling of Saltivka, two more victims turned to medics: a 69-year-old woman was treated on the spot. An 80-year-old woman from Kharkiv was taken to a medical institution. Her condition is moderate," Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, wrote on Telegram.

According to the press service of the main directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Kharkiv region, the enemy shelled a residential neighborhood with multiple rocket launchers, hitting playgrounds, residential buildings, the territory of a church, a store, garages, as well as public transport stops.
