In Kherson Region, Russian occupiers have intensified the use of aviation, continued unlawful late night searches and detentions, and increased pressure on health workers and teachers.

The relevant statement was made by Kherson Regional Council Member Serhii Khlan on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“It seems that the next two weeks will be decisive for the situation in Kherson Region. Thus, the occupiers intensified the use of aviation, continued unlawful late night searches and detentions, as well as increased pressure on local residents, namely health workers and teachers, forcing them to accept salary payments in [Russian] rubles and threatening them with dismissal or ‘conversations’,” Khlan wrote.

In his words, Russian occupiers scheduled a ‘seminar’ for educational workers in Henichesk for August 26-27, 2022, which is expected to be attended by the Russian education minister and other ‘guests’.

According to Khlan, tomorrow Russian occupiers are planning to launch the Tavria television broadcasting company in order to continue their propagandist efforts. They are also spreading the August issue of their newspaper for Kakhovka, where they promise to launch train services to Crimea and spread lies about ‘fascism’ in western Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Kherson Region is facing a shortage of drugs, namely insulin. Specialist doctors are leaving the region.

Nevertheless, Ukrainian partisans continue working in the city of Kherson and Kherson Region.
