Zelensky suggests that Parliament extend martial law, general mobilization

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has introduced two draft bills to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine: on the extension of martial law and on the extension of general mobilization.

The relevant draft bills were registered under No. 7664 and No. 7665 respectively, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The texts of the draft bills and accompanying documents have not yet been made public.

A reminder that, on May 22, 2022, at the initiative of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine extended martial law and general mobilization for a period of 90 days, until August 23, 2022.
