Enemy advancing toward Marinka and Pisky – Ukraine's General Staff

Hostilities continue as Russian forces are conducting offensive operations in the direction of Marinka and Pisky.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

The enemy is concentrating its efforts on establishing full control over the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, maintaining the temporarily captured areas of the Kherson region and parts of the Kharkiv, Zaporizhia, and Mykolaiv regions, creating favorable conditions for resuming the offensive in certain directions, as well as blocking Ukraine's maritime communications in the Black Sea.

The enemy continues to launch air and rocket strikes on military and civilian targets across Ukraine.

The situation has not changed in the Volyn and Polissia directions. The units of the Russian armed forces are performing the task of strengthening the protection of a section of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border in the Brest and Gomel regions.

On the northeastern axis, the enemy used guns to shell civilian and military infrastructure outside Lohy in the Chernihiv region and the settlements of Vorozhba, Mezenivka, Hrabovske and Slavhorod in the Sumy region.

On the Kharkiv axis, the enemy opened fire near Udy, Petrivka, Protopopivka, Korobochkyne and Shevelivka.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy used artillery and tanks near Karnaukhivka, Virnopillia, Bohorodychne, Mazanivka and other settlements.

In the Kramatorsk direction, enemy forced used rocket artillery and tanks near Siversk, Verkhniokamianske, Serebrianka, and Hryhorivka. They also conducted an offensive near Hryhorivka and Verkhniokamianske, but retreated. Fighting continues near Ivano-Darivka.

On the Bakhmut axis, the enemy fired at Ukrainian troops using tanks and artillery near Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka, Pereizne, Vesele, Bakhmutske, Vesela Dolyna, Yakovlivka, Vershyna and Zaitseve. Airstrikes were launched near Vyimka, Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmut and Zaitseve.

The occupiers conducted reconnaissance by fire near Yakovlivka. Ukrainian soldiers forced the invaders to retreat. The enemy unsuccessfully conducted offensive and assault operations near Bakhmutske and Zaitseve. The invaders retreated with losses. Fighting continues outside Vershyna and Dacha.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy used artillery near Marinka, Vodiane, Netailove, Avdiivka, Pisky, Opytne and Krasnohorivka. An airstrike was launched near Avdiivka.

In the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhia directions, the enemy used howitzers, MLRS and tanks near Novomykhailivka, Mala Tokmachka, Malynivka, Lukianivske, Vuhledar, Novodanylivka, Vremivka, Bilohiria, Burlatske and Kushuhum. The occupiers used aircraft near Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka and Zolota Nyva. They attempted to advance near Pavlivka. Ukrainian soldiers rebuffed these attempts.

On the Southern Buh axis, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on holding the occupied positions and preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops. The enemy supports the high intensity of UAV reconnaissance.

The enemy shelled civilian and military infrastructure outside Mykolaiv, Ukrainka, Prybuzke, Lymany, Stepova Dolyna, Blahodatne, Veselyi Kut, Kobzartsi, Bila Krynytsia, Tverdomedove and Osokorivka. Airstrikes were recorded near Andriivka, Novohryhorivka, Bila Krynytsia, Myrne, Velyke Artakove, and Lozove.
