Russian troops hit Bakhmut. Fires break out, two civilians hospitalized

Two civilians were taken to hospital as Russians hit the town of Bakhmut in Donetsk region.

"At 11:40 on August 10, the town of Bakhmut was struck. As a result of the shelling, four fires broke out," the Donetsk region department of the State Emergency Service posted on Facebook.

As of 16:00, rescuers put out fires on a balcony of a nine-story apartment block, two private residential buildings, and a roof of a two-story enterprise building.

Two injured civilians were delivered to a healthcare facility.

As reported, the aggressor is constantly shelling Donetsk region, killing civilians and destroying civilian infrastructure.

No more than 235,000 people involved in the defense and maintenance of critical infrastructure should remain in Donetsk region by the autumn-winter period, the rest should be evacuated. Until February 24, 1,670,000 people lived in Donetsk region permanently.
