Enemy trying to resume offensive in Donetsk–Pisky direction

The Russian aggressors try to resume their offensive in Donetsk–Pisky direction. Battles are ongoing in this area.

This is stated in the latest report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook.

"The situation has not changed in Volyn and Polissya directions. By August 11, it is planned to hold the first stage of Russia–Belarus joint operational-tactical training with live fire. There is still a threat of the enemy missile and air strikes from the territory and airspace of this country [Belarus]," the report reads.

In Siversk direction, the enemy fired tube artillery near Senkivka, Chernihiv region.

In Kharkiv direction, shelling from tanks, tube and rocket artillery was recorded in the areas of Udy, Dementiyivka, Nove, Pytomnyk, Ruski Tyshky, Peremoha, Verkhniy Saltiv, Staryi Saltiv, Mospanove, Stara Hnylytsia, Husarivka, Korobochkyne, Pyatyhirske, and Shevelivka.

To improve its tactical position, the enemy conducted offensive battles in Veterynarne–Udy direction, had no success, suffered losses, and retreated. Fighting continues in Bayrak–Husarivka direction.

In Slovyansk direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Velyka Komyshuvakha, Dmytrivka, Karnaukhivka, Dovhenke, Virnopillia, Nova Dmytrivka, Bohorodychne, and Dolyna.

In Kramatorsk direction, the enemy opened artillery fire near Siversk, Hryhorivka, Verkhniokamyanske, Sydorove, and Raihorodok.

In Bakhmut direction, the occupiers shelled the areas of Kostiantynivka, Bakhmut, Ivano-Daryivka, Pokrovske, Zaytseve, Kodema, Kurdiumivka, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Yakovlivka and Vershyna with tube, rocket artillery and tanks. Strikes were launched by attack and army aviation forces near Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmut, Zaytseve, and Vershyna.

The enemy attempted to assault the directions of Novoluhanske–Spirne, Volodymyrivka–Yakovlivka, Striapivka–Soledar, but had no success and retreated.

In Avdiivka direction, shelling was recorded near Marinka, Avdiivka, Opytne, Pisky, Pervomayske, Nevelske, Petrivske, Netaylove, and Krasnohorivka. Enemy attack aircraft operated near Krasnohorivka and Marinka.

The enemy tries to resume the offensive in Donetsk–Pisky direction, battles are ongoing. The enemy went on the offensive in the directions of Mineralne–Avdiivka and Spartak–Avdiivka, had no success, suffered losses, and retreated.

In Novopavlivsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, the occupiers fired on the areas of Kostiantynopolske, Novomykhailivka, Mala Tokmachka, Velykomykhailivka, Pavlivka, Volodymyrivka, Shevchenko, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka, Burlatske, Vremivka, Zaliznychne, Stepove, Poltavka, Novosilka, Huliaypole, Mali Shcherbaky with tanks, tube and rocket artillery. Airstrikes were launched near Pavlivka, Vuhledar, and Novosilka.

In Southern Buh direction, the enemy fired tanks and artillery of various calibers along the line of contact and launched airstrikes near Novohryhorivka, Andriivka, and Olhyne, conducted aerial reconnaissance.

Two Kalibr sea-launched cruise missile carriers are on alert in the Black Sea. There is a threat of missile strikes on military facilities and critical infrastructure facilities in the territory of Ukraine.

"The fighter aircraft of the Air Force continue to patrol the airspace of Ukraine, and the strike aircraft provide fire support to our units in the designated operational areas without fail," the General Staff summed up.

As reported, the Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated about 42,640 Russian invaders from February 24 to August 9.
