Zelensky presents awards to 167 Ukrainian service members

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has presented state awards to 167 Ukrainian defenders, including posthumous awards to 32 of them.

According to Ukrinform, the decree to that effect, No. 551/2022, has been published on the website of the head of state.

According to the document, the military personnel was honored with awards for their personal courage and selfless actions shown during the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as for their loyalty to the military oath.

In particular, the head of state awarded the orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, the Orders For Courage, the Order of Danylo Halytsky, medals "For Military Service to Ukraine", "For Impeccable Service", "Defender of the Fatherland" and "For a Saved Life."
