The Russian invasion forces are expanding their military grouping in the Kryvyi Rih direction.

This was reported by Operational Command South, Ukrinform saw.

"The enemy continues to conduct hostilities on defense lines, building up a grouping in the Kryvyi Rih region with the aim of preventing our forces from breaking through," the statement reads.

The Armed Forces don’t rule out that the Russian occupiers will further set up offensive strike groups.

Meanwhile, on Sunday, July 31, in Ukraine’s south, the Armed Forces eliminated 52 invaders and destroyed four main battle tanks, two Nona-S self-propelled artillery and mortar units, a self-propelled artillery installation, eight armored combat vehicles and trucks, as well as four ammunition depots in the Beryslav and Bashtanka districts.

"We also received confirmation of a hit on a train carrying military equipment, ammunition, and personnel in the area of ​​the Brylevka Station. Enemy losses are still being verified," the message reads.

It is noted that Ukrainian aircraft struck two enemy strongholds in the Oleksandrivka and Blahodatne districts. Rocket-artillery units engaged enemy e-warfare stations in the Bilyaevka area.

According to the Command, the situation on the southern front is "complex” and develops dynamically, while remaining “under defense forces’ control."

Meanwhile, in the Black Sea, the Russian naval group, consisting of 18 warships and cutters, is maneuvering along the Crimea coast toward Novorossiysk. Five warships and a submarine carrying a total of 44 Kalibr missiles are in full combat readiness for missile strikes. There are also five landing craft on duty.
