Law enforcers have discovered another body of a civilian tortured by the Russians during the occupation of parts of Kyiv region.

That’s according to Kyiv Police Department chief Andrii Nebytov, who delivered the news on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The occupiers brutally tortured a civilian in Nove Zalissia. We found the body next to what once was a Russian position," Nebytov informed.

According to him, the man’s hands were tied with a rope through a towing cable iron clip.

The rope was also wound around the neck. Everything indicates that the man was being strangled before he died," the chief law enforcer elaborated.

Nebytov noted that "this is the second burial site we have found here."

"A few months ago, the body of a murdered IDP from Donetsk was found across the street. Another terrible testimony of the war crimes committed by the aggressors," added the Kyiv region’s chief policeman.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, as of July 17, a total of 1,346 bodies of civilians killed by the Russian forces were discovered across Kyiv region.
