More than 70 strikes: Russians hit five localities of Sumy region, injuring civilians

On July 30, two residents of Sumy region were injured in strikes launched from the territory of the Russian Federation.

"The troops of the Russian Federation struck five localities of the region over the past day... The enemy hit the town of Bilopillia, the villages of Ryzhivka, Iskryskivshchyna of Sumy district, Shevchenkove of Okhtyrka district, Romashkove of Shostka district. In total, 71 strikes were recorded. Two people were injured," the press service of the Sumy region police posted on Facebook.

The police opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).

As reported, Russian troops keep shelling the border communities of the de-occupied Chernihiv and Sumy regions from their territory.
