Male body recovered from under rubble after Russia’s shelling of Bakhmut

A male body has been recovered from under the rubble in Bakhmut, Donetsk Region.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“At 10:25 a.m., the Main Department personnel launched rescue and salvage operations at the site of a two-storey railway repair depot in Bakhmut, which  was destroyed in the enemy shelling last night,” the report states.

So far, rescuers have revealed and recovered a male body from under the rubble. Two more persons may be remaining trapped. Rescue works continue.

A reminder that, on July 29, 2022, Russian troops opened fire on 17 settlements in Donetsk Region.
