The Russian army launched missiles on a military unit in Kyiv region from the Black Sea and Belarus.

"The enemy launched a missile strike with Kalibr cruise missiles from the Black Sea on a military unit in Liutizh, Kyiv region. Currently, there is information that one building was destroyed and two buildings were damaged. In addition, one cruise missile was shot down in the air over the Bucha quarry," Oleksiy Hromov, Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said at the Media Center Ukraine–Ukrinform.

Hromov specified that the enemy launched a missile strike from the area of ​​Cape Fiolent in the Black Sea.

In Chernihiv region, a locality of Honcharivske was hit by MLRS. It has been established that the rockets were launched from the area of Ziabrovka, Gomel region, Belarus. "Our personnel suffered losses. They are being clarified," added the representative of the General Staff.

As reported, according to the consolidated report of the military-civilian administrations on the situation in the regions of Ukraine as of 08:00 on July 28, the Russian troops launched a missile attack on one of the communities of Vyshgorod district of Kyiv region. No casualties have been reported so far. Emergency services still work on site.
