Over the past day, the enemy launched three massive artillery attacks, two mortar attacks, and three attempted tank attacks on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Luhansk region but was repulsed.

"The occupiers do not abandon their intentions to develop an attack on the large cities of Donetsk region, but for now they stand still in our region. They die without ever seeing the neighboring region. They attack from several directions at once, trying to disperse our defense. It doesn't work. On July 24, they again retreated suffering losses," Serhiy Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, posted on Facebook.

That happened in the sections of Verkhniokamyanka – Verkhniokamyanske, Bilohorivka – Verkhniokamyanske, and Verkhniokamyanske – Ivano-Daryivka in Donetsk region.

In all these directions, the Russians failed to advance and lost their fighters.

The enemy strikes the populated localities with fighter jets, opening fire from tube and rocket artillery and using drones.

"For the sixth month, Luhansk region resists the Russian invasion. The Russians were preparing for a short-term war with a quick capitulation of Ukraine, but after more than 150 days, they first capture Bilohorivka, trying to improve their tactical position, and then withdraw from it. This is not what the ‘world’s second military power’ dreamed of. The Armed Forces of Ukraine disrupted their ambitious intentions," Haidai emphasized.

On February 24, Russia launched the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The Russian troops shell and destroy key infrastructure facilities, massively fire on residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages using artillery, MLRS, aerial bombs, and ballistic missiles.
