Five civilians killed, ten injured by Russia's shelling of Donetsk region

Russian troops killed five civilians and wounded ten others in the Donetsk region on Thursday, July 21.

Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk regional military administration, wrote this on messaging app Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"On July 21, the Russians killed five civilians in the Donetsk region: three in Siversk, one in Pavlivka, and one in Marinka. Another ten people were injured," the report said.

In total, since February 24, some 637 civilians have been killed and 1,641 injured in the region. Currently, it is impossible to establish the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha.

On February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the start of an all-out invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops have been shelling and destroying critical infrastructure and residential areas of Ukrainian cities, towns and villages using artillery, multiple rocket launchers, and ballistic missiles.
