Ukrainian forces destroy Russian headquarters, barracks in Kherson region

The Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed Russian forces' headquarters and barracks in Nova Mayachka, Kherson region, late on July 15.

Serhii Khlan, an adviser to the head of the Kherson regional military administration and regional council deputy, said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"Yesterday, at about 22:00, the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the orcs' positions in Nova Mayachka. There, the occupiers set up their headquarters and barracks on the premises of the former children's sanatorium. They are no longer there. We are waiting for the official count of the dead Russians," Khlan wrote.

Over the past few weeks, the Ukrainian military has destroyed 16 sites where Russian forces set up their barracks and ammunition depots.

In particular, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed Russian ammunition depots in Perevalsk, Popasna and Kadiivka in the Luhansk region, Yasynuva, Snizhne, Makiivka and Donetsk in the Donetsk region, and Chornobaivka, Velykyi Burluk and Kherson in the Kherson region.
