Ukraine Army repels enemy assaults on Krasnopillia, Marinka

Ukrainian defenders have successfully repelled an enemy assault on Krasnopillia and prevented Russia’s another attempt to conduct an offensive on Marinka, Donetsk Region.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As of 06:00 a.m., July 11, 2022, there were no significant changes in enemy manpower and the nature of activities in the Volyn, Polissia and Siverskyi directions. Russian troops opened fire on Chernihiv Region’s Karpovychi with cannon artillery.

In the Slobozhanskyi direction, Russian invaders are focusing efforts to maintain the captured frontiers in the Kharkiv direction and prevent Ukrainian forces from advancing. The enemy is taking measures to provide its units with material and technical means.

Russian troops used artillery, multiple launch rocket systems and tanks to open fire near such settlements as Kharkiv, Bazaliivka, Petrivka, Ruski Tyshky, Slatyne, Prudianka, Rubizhne and Blahodatne.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy opened fire on the outskirts of Dibrovne, Mazanivka, Bohorodychne, Adamivka, and Kurulka with cannon and rocket artillery. The Russian military also launched an air strike near Bohorodychne. Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled an enemy assault in the direction of Krasnopilla.

In the Donetsk direction, there are signs of enemy units preparing to intensify combat operations in the Kramatorsk and Bakhmut directions.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Russian troops are conducting assault operations to improve their tactical position. All over the contact line, Russian occupiers systematically open fire on the positions of Ukrainian forces in order to constrain their actions. The enemy’s assault and combat aviation became more active.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian invaders did not take active actions. The enemy opened fire on such settlements as Siversk, Zakitne, Serebrianka, Hryhorivka, Bilohorivka, Verkhniokamianske and Spirne with cannon artillery.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops used mortars, cannon and rocket artillery to open fire near Berestove, Pokrovske, Soledar, Zaitseve, Vershyna, Novoluhanske, Klishchiivka, and New York.

The enemy launched missile and air strikes near Berestove, Spirne, Striapivka, and Vuhlehirska TPP.

In the Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, the enemy shelling was recorded near such settlements as Avdiivka, Karlivka, Marinka, Sribne, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Vremivka, Bilohiria, Poltavka, Huliaipole, Huliaipilske, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv and Kamianske Russian occupiers launched a missile and air strike near Orikhiv, as well as air strikes near Volodymyrivka, Pavlivka and Novoandriivka.

Another offensive attempt by Russian occupiers in the direction of Marinka failed completely. Under the fire of Ukrainian forces, Russian invaders shamefully ran back.

In the Southern Bug direction, Russian troops are focusing efforts to prevent Ukrainian forces from advancing. The enemy shelled such settlements as Osokorivka, Dobrianka, Olhyne, Velyka Kostromka, Bila Krynytsia, Kalynivka, Kiselivka, Liubomyrivka, Kobzartsi, Chervona Dolyna, Shyroke, Kyselivka, Partyzanske, Kotliareve, Posad-Pokrovske and Prybuzke with cannon artillery.

In the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, Russia’s naval group is focusing efforts to hit important military and civilian infrastructure objects with cruise missiles, block the actions of the Ukrainian Naval Forces and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. Two enemy missile carriers are ready to fire Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles at the territory of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian military are keeping the defense firmly and ready for any changes in the operational situation. Ukrainian forces continue to destroy enemy command centers and ammunition depots.
