Deputy PM Vereshchuk again calls on Ukrainians to evacuate from Kherson, Zaporizhzhia regions

Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk called on residents of the occupied districts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions to evacuate as soon as possible by all available means.

"It is necessary to do so for the Armed Forces of Ukraine not to endanger the civilian population during offensive operations," Vereshchuk said during the nationwide telethon, Ukrinform reports.

She called on citizens to leave in any direction, even through the occupied Crimea.

In addition, Vereshchuk reported that 30% of residents of the regions temporarily occupied by Russia fail to pass so-called "filtration" arranged by the invaders.

The Russians take people they consider dangerous, mostly men, "to basements", the Deputy Prime Minister added.

As reported, the Kherson Regional Council urged the residents of the region to leave the territory captured by the enemy and those who cannot to take care of shelter, food and water stocks.
