General Staff thanks US for supplying four more HIMARS systems

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine thanked the USA for the decision to provide Ukraine with four more High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS).
"The Armed Forces of Ukraine are grateful for US support and assistance," the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook.
The General Staff noted that the US Department of Defense had announced officially that "On July 8, the United States committed to providing four additional High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS) and ammunition to Ukraine."
As reported, U.S. President Joe Biden signed on Friday a new package of security assistance to Ukraine worth about $400 million which includes, in particular, new HIMARS systems and ammunition.
