Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the invaders have completely destroyed 122 healthcare institutions, killed 14 health professionals and injured 48 more.

"Since the beginning of the war, 817 healthcare facilities have been damaged by enemy shells and bullets. We can say that these hospitals were taken out of the technological process, but their activity was restored in one way or another in order to save Ukrainians and provide medical assistance. Moreover, 122 facilities were completely destroyed, they cannot be restored. New institutions must be built in their place. ... Fourteen health workers were killed and 48 more were injured. These are the health workers on whom we have official data. They worked in civilian hospitals," Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko said during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform.

According to the minister, 35 billion 808 million hryvnias are needed to repair the damaged institutions to the state they were in before the start of the war, and 15 billion 328 million hryvnias are needed to rebuild 122 destroyed healthcare institutions.

To date, 469 healthcare facilities are in the occupied territory.

Liashko also noted that 85 ambulances had been destroyed since the start of the full-scale invasion. In addition, 481 pharmacies have been damaged and 43 more have been destroyed.

On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, thereby continuing the military aggression that has been ongoing since 2014. Russian troops massively bomb and shell Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages. The Russians unleashed mass terror against the civilian population in the temporarily occupied territories.
