Russians have failed to advance to the administrative borders of Luhansk region. as hostilities are still underway in two settlements.

Luhansk Regional Military Administration chief Serhii Haidai reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The fact that Russians reported that they had captured the entire Luhansk region is not entirely true. Because Luhansk region is still fighting; although almost the whole territory has been captured, there are two settlements where battles are still ongoing. So far, it’s not possible to say that the enemy hs reached the administrative borders of Luhansk region by 100%," said the region's leader.

The official stated that fierce battles continue as the Russian army gets new reserves constantly: new equipment and a large amount of ammunition for their artillery. The enemy has been shelling the area day and night, trying to set up river crossings. After all, they seek to completely occupy the entire Luhansk region.

"Throughout all this time, they have lost so much equipment and servicemen there that it reminds me of Zhukov's operation, when the Dnipro was crossed during World War 2," added Haidai.

He also noted that the Luhansk State Military Administration will slightly change the directions of its work in the future to focus mainly on assisting military servicemen and displaced persons, as well as on the humanitarian aid to residents.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the enemy keeps shelling Ukrainian military positions on the administrative border of the region near Lysychansk in the direction of Bakhmut.  Russia does not stop its "missile terrorism." The establishment of puppet authorities is ongoing in the occupied territories: in Sieverodonetsk, the invaders launched a self-styled "prosecutor's office", appointed Ukrainian traitors to leadership positions, and are imitating restoration of local infrastructure damaged in hostilities.
