Ukraine’s Armed Forces repel enemy assaults near Krasnopillia. Fighting ongoing in Bilohorivka area

The Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully repelled the Russian assaults near Krasnopillia in Slovyansk direction. In Donetsk direction, the main efforts of the enemy are focused on taking control of the Bakhmut – Lysychansk highway and capturing Bilohorivka.

This is stated in the latest report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Russian invasion as of 18:00 on July 5, published on Facebook.

"In the Southern Buh direction, the enemy systematically fired tube and rocket artillery on civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of Osokorivka, Dobrianka, Potiomkine, Ivanivka, Bereznehuvate, Partyzanske, Chervona Dolyna, Kyselivka, and Myrne. A threat of missile strikes on the critical infrastructure of the region remains," reads the report

No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in Volyn and Polissya directions, but the threat of missile and air strikes from the territory of the Republic of Belarus remains. According to the available information, the control and alert system is being checked in the armed forces of Belarus.

In Siversky direction, the enemy continues to keep the section of the Ukrainian-Russian border under heavy guard. In addition, the enemy fired on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of ​​ Mkhy and launched an airstrike near Esman.

In Kharkiv direction, the enemy defends the previously captured lines. The invaders used tanks, mortars, tube and rocket artillery to fire on the areas of Udy, Dementiyivka, Nove, Ruski Tyshki, Tsyrkuny, Kutuzivka, Bazalivka, Pryshyb, Shevelivka, and Protopopivka. The enemy assaulted Sosnivka, had no success, retreated. The Russians also launched an airstrike near Kharkiv.

In Slovyansk direction, the enemy tries to improve its tactical position. Artillery shelling was recorded near Dibrivne, Dolyna, and Adamivka. The Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully repulsed the enemy assaults near Krasnopillia.

In Donetsk region, the main efforts of the enemy are focused on taking control of Bakhmut – Lysychansk highway and capturing Bilohorivka.

In Kramatorsk direction, the enemy fired on civilian infrastructure near Kryva Luka and Serebrianka, launched a missile and air strike near Siversk. Fighting continues in the area of Bilohorivka.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy fired mortars, rocket and tube artillery on the Ukrainian troops in the areas of Kodema, Pokrovske, Zaytseve, Zalizne, and Novoselivka.

With the support of artillery and operational-tactical aviation, the invaders assaulted the areas of Spirne and Vershyna, the fighting continues.

Artillery shelling continues along the contact line in Avdiivka, Kurakhove, Novopavlivsk, and Zaporizhzhia directions. The enemy launched airstrikes on the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces near Avdiivka.

"Our units continue to successfully execute missile and artillery fire missions in the designated directions. It is increasingly difficult for the enemy to replenish its units that suffer losses while waging war in the territory of Ukraine," the General Staff emphasizes.

As reported, on July 5, the Ukrainian air defense units shot down three enemy missiles targeting the port infrastructure of Ochakiv, Mykolayiv region, and Chornomorsk, Odesa region.
