Russia keeps three carriers of Kalibr missiles in Black Sea

Russia keeps three carriers of Kalibr sea-based cruise missile carriers in the Black Sea, ready to launch up to 20 missiles at the same time.

Oleksandr Motuzianyk, spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said this at a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine - Ukrinform, speaking about the situation in the Black Sea and Azov operational zones.

"The naval group of the Russian Black Sea Fleet continues to block Ukraine's maritime communications and conducts reconnaissance in the northwestern part of the Black Sea. Three carriers of Kalibr sea-based cruise missiles are ready for the use of missile weapons in the Black Sea, with a possible simultaneous total volley of up to 20 missiles," the spokesman said.

Earlier reports said that Russia had additionally strengthened its naval group in the Black Sea with a submarine.
