Ukrainian military launch over 10 accurate strikes on Snake Island

The relevant statement was made by Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces Natalia Humeniuk during a briefing at Media Center Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“We continue a [military] operation on Snake Island. Last night more than 10 accurate strikes were launched on the island. We are checking the results now, but we have already been informed that one more Pantsir-S1 air defense missile gun system was hit,” Humeniuk told.

In her words, there are adverse weather conditions in the Black Sea at the moment. Thus, the enemy left two missile ships carrying 16 cruise missiles on duty.

A reminder that, on June 22, 2022, Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate at the Ukrainian Defense Ministry Kyrylo Budanov stated that Ukraine Army’s military operation on Snake Island will last until the island is fully liberated from Russian invaders.
