Russian forces trying to blockade Lysychansk from south

In the Donetsk direction, Russian troops, supported by artillery, are trying to block the town of Lysychansk from the south.

That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs were spotted of the formation of enemy offensive groups. According to available information, the Belarus leadership continues to provide military support to the Russian Federation. Another consignment of up to 20 rail cars of ammunition was transported to Belgorod region.

In the Siversky direction, the enemy continues to fortify the Russian-Ukrainian border. Civilian and military infrastructure was shelled in the areas of Khrinivka and Yanzhulivka in Chernihiv region, while air strikes targeted Slavhorod in Sumy region.

In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy opened fire on Ukrainian forces and ran signals reconnaissance.

In the Kharkiv direction, the Russians engaged the areas of Kharkiv, Shevelivka, Pishchane, Chuhuiv, Shestakove, Zamulivka, and Ruska Lozova with tanks, mortars, barrel and jet artillery. They also carried out assault operations in the area of Dementiyivka and Pytomnyk, with no gains. The occupiers remotely mined the area near Fedorivka, Ukrainka, Zamulivka, Shestakove, and Peremohy.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy focused its efforts in the direction of Dolyna. Barrel artillery and jet artillery was active near Bohorodychne, Adamivka, Khrestyshche, Hrushuvakha, Svitlychne, and Kurulka. The occupiers also launched an air strike near Dovhenke. In order to improve their tactical situation, the enemy forces are advancing toward Mazanivka, where the firefight continues.

In the Donetsk direction, the enemy troops, supported by artillery, are trying to blockade the city of Lysychansk from the south. They are shelling civilian and military infrastructure in the areas of Lysychansk, Vovchoyarivka, Loskutivka, and Verkhnokamyanka. Enemy assault aircraft struck near Lysychansk. Fighting continues in the Vovchoyarivka area. Near Verkhnokamyanka, Ukraine’s Defense Forces inflicted heavy losses on the enemy and forced the Russian forces to retreat.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy conducted no active combat operations, firing artillery at the districts of Raihorodok and Mayaky.

In the Bakhmut direction, the Russians used mortars, barrel and jet artillery, firing on Ukraine’s positions in the areas of Spirne, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Klynove, and Zaitseve. The strike of army aircraft was recorded near Pokrovsky. Ukrainian soldiers located and neutralized sabotage and reconnaissance groups near Spirne and Yakovlivka, also repulsing the assault in the direction of Klynove. The enemy offensive in the areas of Berestove and Vershyna was stopped. The occupiers withdrew. The enemy is setting up checkpoints around Mykolayivka.

In the Avdiyivka, Kurakhiv, Novopavliv, and Zaporizhia directions, the enemy fired at the positions of Ukrainian troops from barrel and jet artillery along the line of contact, also carrying out air strikes in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Vesele, Vuhledar, Shevchenko, Prychystivka, Maryinka, and Pavlivka. An enemy missile and air strike was recorded in Avdiyivka. Near Maryinka, Ukrainian soldiers again suppressed the enemy's attempt to advance.

In the South Buh direction, the enemy focused its main efforts on holding gained ground, conducting reconnaissance and fortifying their positions. They fired on civilian and military infrastructure using barrel and jet artillery in the areas of Velyka Kostromka, Potemkine, Knyazivka, Partizanske, Kvitneve, and Stepova Dolyna. Ukrainian aircraft carried out several successful air strikes on enemy clusters.

In the Black Sea, the occupiers are holding two high-precision missile carriers ready for launch.
