The Armed Forces of Ukraine are forced to conduct maneuverable defense, occupying more advantageous frontiers and positions.

This was stated by Ukraine Army Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, who took to Telegram to make the statement, Ukrinform reports.

"The cost of freedom is high. It is very difficult for us because the fire advantage is on the enemy’s side. Despite all odds, we’re holding on," the statement reads.

The commander-in-chief stressed that the situation is difficult but under control.
