Ukraine’s Armed Forces eliminate almost 60 invaders, 18 equipment units in south

"The occupiers continue pursuing defensive actions and counterbattery activity. The enemy existing forces do not dare to take active action, do not create new strike groups. Insidious tactics of missile strikes continue to be used as a means of combat and psychological pressure on the defense forces and civilians," the Operational Command "South" informs.

As a result of the morning missile strike by air-launched cruise missiles on Mykolayiv city, when the ruscists aimed at an industrial facility, a sports club was smashed and the residential neighborhood was hit again, damaging several apartment blocks and a transformer substation.

"Two people were killed, 20 were injured, including two children. In the afternoon, the enemy also fired at least ten 152mm artillery shells on Mykolayiv city suburbs. There are no essential destructions and no casualties among the population," the military reported.

Instead, the Armed Forces of Ukraine and its missile and artillery units in particular executed about 120 fire missions, launched two airstrikes on the enemy over the past day.

The following enemy losses were confirmed: 57 personnel and 18 units of equipment, including T-72 tank, TOS-1 Buratino heavy flamethrower system, Msta-B howitzer, Giatsint self-propelled gun, three multi-purpose armored tractors, nine vehicles and armored personnel vehicles. Another field ammunition depot was destroyed. The remaining losses are being clarified.

In addition, the Spasatel Vasiliy Bekh tugboat sank along with a TOR anti-aircraft missile system on board after being struck.

"The enemy naval group consisting of a submarine, two missile carriers and three large landing ships continue to block the northwestern part of the Black Sea. The threat of missile strike and landing operation remain," the Operational Command "South" notes.
