Ukrainian air forces destroy four Russian cruise missiles, company task force

Over the past day, the Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have shot down four Russian cruise missiles and two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and destroyed an enemy company task force.

The relevant statement was made by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On June 14, 2022, the Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed four cruise missiles launched by Russian occupiers on the territory of Ukraine from the Black Sea,” the report states.

Ukrainian anti-aircraft gunners also hit two Russian UAVs.

In addition, Ukraine’s Su-25 and Su-24m aircrafts launched several air attacks on enemy positions. As a result, Russia’s company task force, military equipment and personnel were destroyed.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russia started a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, extensively firing at the residential areas of Ukrainian cities and villages with artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, air bombs and ballistic missiles.
