In the southern direction, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 70 Russian personnel and more than 60 units of enemy equipment, including a helicopter.

"In our operational zone, the enemy continues to pursue the counterbattery activity. The enemy does not conduct active offensive actions and strengthens defensive lines. The occupation forces twice attempted an air strike. In the morning, our unit shot down an enemy helicopter, using a portable anti-aircraft missile system. In the afternoon, another enemy Mi-8 attacked the river crossing, trying to restrain our units in maneuvers," the Operational Command "South" posted on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

In response, Ukrainian aviation launched three strikes on the accumulation of Russian manpower and military equipment in Kherson region. Missile strikes were also launched on fuel depots and the area of ​​concentration of equipment, and two enemy command and observation posts were suppressed.

In total, 70 Russian personnel and more than 60 units of enemy equipment were destroyed over the past day: a helicopter, a Pion self-propelled heavy artillery system, a Grad multiple rocket launcher, three 152mm howitzers, 19 armored personnel vehicles, 33 vehicles, four engineering equipment units.

In addition, two ammunition depots were smashed.

The Operational Command "South" also points out that the ship group of the enemy fleet in the north-western part of the Black Sea was reformatted once again. Two missile ships and a submarine equipped with 20 cruise missiles continue to pose a threat of missile attack from the sea, and one large landing ship "shows the intention of a landing operation."
